Sorry about my blog not being updated this week 'til Friday 0.0

I had doctors appointments ALL this week to make sure my new blood pressure medicine was working (yes, barely going to be 20 and I have to take meds for blood pressure) and well for some reason I've also ended up having things to do late into the night and just did not get around to updating my here blog. I was suppose to go for 5 days in a row to get it checked, but when I went in on Thursday my doctor said that since my BP was in a normal range I could skip out on day 5 and just get that last apt (I was told to get labs done, a 5 day BP check and a second EKG) taken care of then to schedule a follow up to see as to why I've been having high blood pressure and a heart that was racing without meds.

Well, I'm about to post 3+ entries so be fulfilled. More like I'll be posting them throughout today :P

I'd like to blog about Guro

WARNING: This blog is about something that is for mature readers only, meaning you should be over the age of 18 and can be mature about what you are reading. I have warned you so if your mind explodes or your innocent little mind can't handle what is mentioned in this blog and you somehow become suicidal or kill someone or something I CAN NOT BE BLAMED.

First off I should probably define what Guro is -> it is a grotesque form of art, but in most cases is a sub-genre of Hentai. You can listen to a humorous podcast episode of the Weeaboobies dedicated to guro -> listen here. And well.... most people who are a fan of guro are not necessarily sick or anything like that, but guro is seen as something that most people who should not even remotely admit to be a fan of because it is in a sense something a psycho killer/ rapist would get a kick of- well at least the hard core ERO GURO which is violent hentai >.>

Ok, a lot of the anime I'm listing is guro as in grotesque (you'll see limbs getting ripped off, blood, guts, brains, etc).

Anything by Go Nagai, who is pretty much super famous for being a guro artist, should satisfy your need to read gore manga.

Elfen Lied is an interesting case. The anime is not that guroesque, but the manga is far more gorey but it's also calm compared to the pornographic guro... so I would recommend reading this one over the others if you're looking for a gore manga that is not hentai.

Gantz is kind of the same thing as Elfen Lied, but the manga is on the porn side more than the anime (but the anime does have a sex scene). The manga is addicting though... I got through 200 chapters of it in a few days because I could not put it down.
